Pete D. Linthicum

Title: CEO

Pete has a remarkable 40 year background with Electrical Design and Construction began with an education from Southwestern State University, Texas State Institute of Technology and an IBEW Apprenticeship, and he attained his Journeyman license in 1970. Pete then went on to achieve his Masters license from numerous states, making him eligible to do contract work across the U.S. Over his career, Pete has worked on Pipelines, pump stations, marine truck and rail terminals, petroleum refineries, as well as gas processing facilities, Geothermal, Solar (SEG), Gas, and coal fired energy generation facilities. His responsibilities at these facilities included electrical construction, project management, implementation management, electrical consulting, chief inspection, Startup Superintendent, General Superintendent and business ownership. His qualifications and certifications far surpass that of most other electrical Professionals. Pete’s extraordinary skill set is a necessity for any project requiring the highest level of expertise.

Pete’s credentials allowed him to work on several large projects at various companies as a General Superintendent. For nearly eight years, Pete was an Electrical Subject Matter Expert for the Williams companies, in which he carried out many duties, to include consulting, Maintenance, Electrical Systems Design, Controls, Instrumentation, and coordinating emergent repairs. Pete was entrusted to oversee budgets in the tens of millions of dollars, for many of the companies that he has worked for.

Pete’s additional capabilities include a considerable amount of experience with Power Systems Surveys, which he has performed regularly for over 20 years. Pete has an extensive knowledge of building, designing and implementing medium voltage controllers, such as; DC Drives, Starters and Load Break Switches. His knowledge of High Voltage is also an asset to many that may need new substation or pole line design and construction. Pete’s substantial knowledge, qualifications and experience can help any company in need of regulation compliance, expert electrical construction consultation, project coordination, system design, inspection, Power System Surveys, and overall project management.

Norman D. Tubby

Title: COO

Norman’s qualifications and credentials, coupled with his 45 years of electrical construction experience, makes him a highly sought after electrical professional. He has successfully performed numerous projects throughout the duration of his career in a variety of industries that include; Pipelines, Refineries, Gas Processing Facilities, Steel Mills, Gold Mines, Solar Generating Stations, Chemical Plants, High Rise Office Buildings, Paper Mills and Waste Water Treatment Plants.

Norman has over 20 years of electrical experience with midstream petroleum pipeline pump stations, terminals, tank farms and remove valve sites. He has also worked on numerous petroleum refineries and gas processing plants from the Texas Gulf Coast to a 15mcf/day gas processing plants in the North Dakota Bakken. His exceptional organizational and management experience has allowed him to successfully oversee, plan and schedule the Power Systems Survey and the Arc Flash Hazard Analysis for over 150 site locations and facilities, 80 of which were completed in the last two years. His ability to provide maximum efficiency, give accurate estimates, be organized and pay attention to every detail qualifies him to assist your company in the oversight of your project and see it to the end with the most cost-effective solution possible.

Allen E. Downs

Title: Electrical Specialist – III / Manager of Arc Flash Initiatives

Allen’s 35 years worth of experience has provided him with a massive skill set that excels most professionals in the Mid-Stream Oil & Gas Refinery, Chemical, and Electrical Construction Industries. He is one of the best in our profession when it comes to electrical instrumentation design, repair, maintenance, inspection and consultation. His extensive pipeline and refinery experience has given him a thorough understanding of pipeline controls, refinery instrumentation control repair, boiler maintenance/repair, cooling tower maintenance/repair, switchgear, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), remote terminal units, SCADA Systems and more. He has utilized AutoCAD software for many years to assist with updates on electrical systems and instrumentation. Through the years, Allen has become quite skilled with advanced software technologies.

Allen is comfortable supervising at all levels. His past experience teaching electronics at Indian Meridian Vo-Tech helped to hone him into an expert Supervisor capable of effectively and patiently communicating project plans to workers. His vast amount of knowledge and varied skill set lends itself perfectly as one of our Electrical Specialists and Arc Flash Consultants. He is adept in all aspects of instrumentation would be pleased to assist you in troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, Arc Flash Hazard Analysis, electrical instrumentation upgrades, project supervision and more. His level of experience and wide ranging capabilities makes him a positive addition to any electrical project.

Kevin D. Knick

Title: Director of Design

Kevin is a professional electrical, mechanical and piping designer with over 30 years of experience. His impressive list of skills includes CAD Design with 3D modeling software, whereupon he has designed facilities for gas processing facilities, refineries, pipelines and chemical companies, power generation plants and more. Kevin has extensive training and experience with Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), site investigations, as well as troubleshooting fabrication flaws, and checking for accuracy in calculations and specifications. His thorough knowledge of regulatory and consensus standards surpasses most in the energy industry.

Kevin’s designs have helped countless companies achieve the highest level of efficiency and productivity possible. His keen attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively will undoubtedly serve you to the standards in which your company expects and deserves.

He has performed as a Director of Design, a Drafting Manager, an Electrical Designer as well as a Piping Designer throughout his career. Working all those years in the various managerial positions, has given him the ability to deliver maximum efficiency. He is proficient at creating project designs that are subject to strict time or budgetary constraints. Kevin is certified in the use of AutoDesk Design Products and has a degree in Arts & Science. He would be pleased to apply his knowledge to any electrical design project your company has planned.

John J. Brown P.E.

Title: Electrical Engineer

John’s dynamic background in the Electrical Engineering field has allowed him to become a highly sought after individual because of his experience, educational background and his extensive credentials. Not only has John worked in the Electrical Engineering industry for over 45 years, his remarkable background includes Military Service with the US Air Force, where he flew B-52 Bombers and attained the rank of Captain. He retired from the Military Reserve at the rank of Major. Among his career accomplishments, John has designed terminal boxes, loop diagrams, compressor stations, pipeline SCADA Systems, Rail Loading facilities and more. His knowledge has allowed him to be a Senior Lead Engineer for two 4160 Volt Ships deployed for use by the US Navy where he designed four 13,800 volt distribution switchgear lineups. He has served as Sr. Project Engineer for scores of successful projects, one of them being a $70 million dollar project in Pennsylvania which included system final installation, startups and troubleshooting.

Among his past accomplishments, John has written and published articles in relation to PLCs, one of which appeared in the ASME 1983 proceedings titled, “The Application of Programmable Logic Controllers to Compressor Controls”. John has put this knowledge to use for large oil refineries, gas processing facilities, manufacturing facilities, power plants and for offshore production platforms. He holds two degrees in Electrical Engineering, a Bachelors degree from University of Arkansas and a Masters degree from University of North Dakota in Electrical Engineering. John is also a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Oklahoma.
